Biography
I was born and raised in northern Sweden to Lebanese parents, spending most of my upbringing in Örnsköldsvik. I later moved southward to study physics and astronomy at Uppsala University. For my bachelor's thesis project, I investigated the magnetosphere of Saturn using data from the Cassini spacecraft, whereas during the master's studies I transitioned to observational astrophysics, focusing on stellar spectra and the characterization of exoplanet host stars.
Since 2020, I am a PhD student at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, and a member of the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) PlanetS community.
In my free time, I enjoy going to the cinema, hiking in the Swiss alps, and writing short stories.
